Our cluster platform uses an array of best-in-class technologies and hardware.
The core software stack consists of Xen (hypervisor), Corosync & Pacemaker (cluster management), and DRBD (real-time data replication). Our cluster hardware is carefully selected for endurance and performance: SuperMicro dual-PSU servers with Samsung SM863 enterprise-grade SSDs, linked to the cluster via 10-gigabit Ethernet.
Unlike some of our competitors, we don't use SSD caching because that only speeds up access to the most-requested files, leaving the rest of your data languishing on slow hard disks.
Our cloud exclusively uses SSD storage, meaning that even the least-used file on your VPS will be accessible at lightning speed.
Our cloud infrastructure replicates your entire VPS to an independent storage system in real-time, 24/7/365. This allows the immediate and automatic replacement of a faulty node, using live data.
Alongside full nightly backups to an independent storage infrastructure, a copy of your data is always in 3 different places.

Although our services are unmanaged as standard (unless you've purchased a management contract), we want to assist if you're ever in need of help.
That's why we offer a management allowance of 15 minutes per month, per GB of RAM, to offer assistance regarding subjects that a traditional unmanaged VPS wouldn't cover - for example, a query about recompiling PHP to include a specific module.

The data centre is divided into suites. N+1 air conditioning and hot aisle containment ensures the temperature and humidity is strictly controlled.

Each rack has 2 independent power feeds from separate UPS systems, and 2 network uplinks to separate core network rooms.

Multiple 10-gigabit fibre links enter the building via several private ducts, and are routed to separate communications rooms at opposite ends of the building.
Located in Hemel Hempstead, the data centre benefits from its close promixity to the heart of the UK's internet in London Docklands, ensuring round-trip latency of only 1 millisecond.
